Purpose: The purpose of this trial is to:

Assess the positive effects on growth of tumour cells
Study effectiveness of drug on patients
Assess and monitor any side effects

Eligibility: To be eligible to join this clinical trial you must:

Be 19 years of age or over
Have a measurable disease
Have no brain metastases
Not have received previous chemotherapy for the condition
Not have had radiotherapy for at least four weeks
Not have had surgery for at least two weeks
Not have received treatment with the trial drug before

Treatment: The process will entail:

Administering of drug once daily by mouth for as long as benefits are evident.
Evalutions bi-monthly for a year; four monthly for a year; and twice yearly for a year.
